Monochrome Months

Taking the lazy way out today. At the link, a shot from the Parkway somewhere around MP 30, Nelson or Rockbridge counties. Some forest aspects like the one pictured have gone to gray now that the deciduous trees have dropped all their leaves. Other aspects on our drive were quite impressively colorful yet. I’ll post an image this week that came from up top at Wintergreen to show you the Bigger Picture.

Fred First holds masters degrees in Vertebrate Zoology and physical therapy, and has been a biology teacher and physical therapist by profession. He moved to southwest Virginia in 1975 and to Floyd County in 1997.
