Because radio reception is crummy between the house and work (though sometimes the static only enhances the mood of the oldies station from Wytheville.) And I have six CD’s in the built-in stereo. I told you in the “FEEDS I’M READING” sidebar about Scribd, billed as the “You-Tube for Text”. It was swamped with submissions when I first tried to upload a file; it was zippy today. And for starters, I uploaded Gene Hyde’s review of Slow Road Home that I converted to pdf, but this seems to load much faster than pdf, and may be the wave of the future for linking to documents that in the past have been too complex, too large, too slow …
